Kharem block in Arunachal: An update

Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited along with its JV partners Oil India Limited and Prize Petroleum Limited has been granted the forest clearance to start exploration activities in AA/ONDSF/KHEREM/2016 block in Kherem, Arunachal Pradesh.
8Petroleum Mining Lease (PML) for the block is awaited. The block is in the vicinity of Bordumasa Oil collecting Station connected via a 6 inch, 18km pipeline and Digboi Refinery is connected via 6 inch 30 km pipeline from there on..
8The block was awarded to the company under the DSF Round-1 in 2017 and covers an area of about 16.45 sq km.
