The $50 billion take over of Anadarko by oil & gas supermajor Chevron will now mean that the Indian trio of ONGC, BPCL and OIL which are highly invested in the Mozambique LNG programme, will have to deal with a new owner. 8One of the reasons, among many others, why Anadarko got a price tag of $50 billion is that it is closer to FID in the Mozambique project 8The Indian majors in turn will soon have to learn to deal with a new owner to take forward the considerable investments they will make in Mozambique.
