8Unlike in the downstream sector, where EIL had a near hegemony, the E&P sector is much more technology-intensive segment and EIL has been losing its edge of late
8Even in areas such as gas processing or crude sweetening, where EIL has the requisite experience, landing a nomination contract or an OBE contract, will not be easy anymore
