Both HPCL and BPCL are readying for a tough battle to keep their monopoly on the supply of ATF to Mumbai airport.
8The duo have claimed that the PBGRB did not have the right to issue a notice without an adequate consultation process with them
8The two companies have accused the regulator of siding with RIL in issuing the notice
8What is more, they say that liquid pipelines laid within a city cannot be treated as common carriers.
8Then again, if dedicated rights are withdrawn, both refineries will face product offtake problems
