8Project Name: Barauni - Guwahati Greenfield Gas Pipeline (GAIL)
8Project Cost: Rs 4015 Crore
8Project Description: Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has accorded the Provisional Acceptance to GAIL for the proposal for laying, building, operating or expanding Barauni-Guwahati natural gas pipeline. The capacity of the pipeline is 1.85 MMSCMD. The total length of the pipeline is estimated to be about 750 km of 24-inch in diameter across the states from Bihar to Assam. RFQ for the PFR consultant is already out. A consultant will be hired to take care of land acquisition and attendant issues.
8Project Event: RFQ for land acquisition consultant is expected by June 2018.
RFQ for survey work is expected by August 2018.
