Shale oil & gas development: Oilfield equipment and chemicals in Q3, 2018

8Project Cost: Rs 100 crore
8Project Description: The Promoter is planning exploratory drilling of 03 shale gas and oil wells. Shale gas and oil exploratory drilling is a temporary activity which will continue for about 3 to 4 months for each well. The rigs are self-contained for all routine jobs. Once the drilling operations are completed, based on the evaluation of core/ cutting samples and log data collected in these assessment wells, prospective zones in the source rock shale formation will be identified for hydrofracturing and production testing. The targeted drilling depth of the well will be up to 3200m. The location is proposed to be drilled by promoter owned electrical type rig. The equipment required for the project is casing pipes, drilling pipes, cementing services, drill bits, Xmas Tree and other oilfield chemicals. An EIA consultant has been already hired for the project. Further RFQs are expected shortly.
