Deep Industries to continue working with ONGC in CBM block: Oil industry makes for strange bedfellows
May 10: The oil & gas industry, there are no permanent antagonists as Deep Industries and ONGC found out when it decided to continue cooperating in a CBM block in which both are in a JV and Deep Industries is in the driver's seat. 8Pertinently, Deep Industries are recently blacklisted by ONGC for submission of false documents in a tender. 8A Deep Industry subsidiary will soon float RFQs for pipeline and equipment for a Rs 500 crore CBM development project Here are the details: 8Project Name: CBM Block Development 8Project Cost: Rs 500 crore. 8Project Description: The JV is planning the drilling a total of 68 wells and Deep Industries subsidiary is the strategic partner to undertake the development of the block. An overall quantity of 0.3 MMSCMD of gas has been envisaged to be produced from the project. A US firm has been selected to carry out the feasibility study for the project. The consultant for EIA services has been finalized from the company's end.
