8Project Name: Thermal Power : FGD Addition Project

8Project Description: The owner is scheduled to install an FGD for a 1320 MW (2x660 MW) thermal power complex. The company is expected to float tenders for the same. At present, feasibility study has been submitted to the state government for appraisal. One of the two 660 MW has been commissioned while another is under construction and is expected to get commissioned by September 2018. The major requirements will be FGD, cranes, pipes, installation, gypsum disposal, wet lime, among others.
8Project Event: RFQs for supply of FGD are expected by Q3 2018.

8Project Description: The developer's 42 MW (3x14 MW) greenfield hydro power project is getting hampered due to delay in preparation of EIA report and delay in getting NOC from the state government authorities. Moreover, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has not alloted funds for the project. The power purchase agreement is also pending. The promoter has delayed the selection process for an EPC (turn-key) contractor.
8Project Event: RFQ for EPC (turnkey) contractor is expected to be out in Q3 2018, instead of March 2018.
