India's China-Pakistan relationship: In for a thaw?

Are India’s troubled relations with its two nuclear-powered neighbours China and Pakistan heading towards a thaw?
8The question is being increasingly asked in strategic circles in New Delhi after two recent events.
8First, Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale paid an unannounced visit to China and second India has reportedly invited Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Pervaiz Malik to an informal multilateral conference to be held in the Indian capital on March 19-20.
8There is speculation that both the events could pave the way for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to China for the multilateral Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in June this year and revive the canceled SAARC Summit in Pakistan this year-end.
