Business Opportunities for a dismantling contractor : RFQs in Q3 2018
8Project Name: Thermal Power Station - Dismantling Project
8Project Cost: 80 crores
8Project Description: The owner is planning to retire and dismantle Units 7 and 8 (2x94 MW) out of it's 1188 MW Thermal Power Station. As of now, these two units have been under shutdown since June, 2011 due to low schedule and inability to meet the minimum environmental and emission norms. The consultant has already carried out the feasibility study. The dismantling proposal for the two units are pending with the State government, after which bids for dismantling services will be floated. Dismantling works are slated for mid 2019.
8Project Event: RFQs for dismantling services are expected by Q3 2018.

Rs 9000 crore thermal power plant : RFQs for a fire protection system are expected in Q2 2018
8Project Name: Super Thermal Power Greenfield Project
8Project Cost: 9000 crores
8Project Description: The developer's 1320 MW (2x660 MW) greenfield super-critical thermal power plant is going on with contracting activities. The project is a symbol of successful cooperation between two countries. The company is the EPC contractor. Bids for switch-yard, EOT cranes have been floated. The turnkey contractor will now come out with a fire protection system package, raw water system and FGD packages soon.
8Project Event: RFQs for fire protection system package are expected by Q2 2018, instead of Q1 2018.
