8Project Name: R&M of control panels in Thermal Power Station

8Project Description: The owner is planning to renovate and modernize its existing old control system in ESP by microprocessor based control panels in unit-2 (210 MW) of 1050 MW Thermal Power Station. The existing control panels have served more than 15 years and to optimize the ESP performance new version control panels is required. Administrative approval from TNEB is pending. The owner will come out with bids for procurement of new control panels soon.
8Project Event: RFQ for new control panels in ESP is expected to come by Q3 2018.

8Project Name: Thermal Power Station - FGD Addition Project
8Project Cost: 300 crores
8Project Description: The owner is planning the installation of a Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) unit at it's 630 MW (3x210 MW) unit Thermal Power Station. At present, site survey activities are ongoing for feasibility report for submission to the state government for approval. Work on the project is meant to start in 2019. RFQ for supply of FGD is expected to be out soon.
8The major requirements will be FGD, absorbers, cranes, pipes, installation, gypsum disposal, wet limestone, among others.
8Project Event: RFQ for supply of FGD is expected to be out by Q2 2018.
