EPC mode changed to IPP mode in a hydel plant : Get the detailed information
8Project Name: Greenfield Hydroelectric Project

8Project Description: The owner's 84 MW (2x42 MW) hydroelectric greenfield project is on hold due to delay in concurrence of DPR from CEA. The DPR has been submitted to CEA for up-gradation of the project cost. Bids for consultany services for an EIA report preparation has been floated. The project will be in Independent power producers (IPP) mode and bids for IPP services will be out only after getting concurrence from CEA.
8Project Event: RFQ for an Independent power producers (IPP) is expected by Q3 2018.

8Project Name: Greenfield Thermal Power Plant
8Project Cost: 7400 crores
8Project Description: The owner's 1080 MW (4x270 MW) greenfield Thermal Power Plant is under construction and getting hampered due to heavy rains in the plant area resulting in slow movement of equipment and manpower. The company is the EPC contractor. Currently, boiler erection works are underway. Bids for fire protection system, C&I works, CHP have already been released. The EPC contractor will come out with bids for short lead electrical equipment and an FGD package soon.
8Project Event: RFQs for short lead electrical equipment and an FGD package are expected in May 2018, instead of February 2018.
