ONGC calls on vendors to become whistleblowers or else face prosecution

ONGC has embarked on a new whistleblower policy where vendors can alert the company of any wrong doing in contracts taken given out by the E&P major.
8The point to note here is that they are meant to sound the alert not just for any wrong doing by themselves but also by others.
8This condition will not just be applied to contracts to purchases of equipment but to all agreements that the company enters into.
8This can be a problem for some vendors as the mere awareness of "wrong doing" by others, if not reported, may cause action to be taken.
