8Project Description: The owner is going on with the construction activities for a greenfield super-critical 1600 MW (2*800 MW) thermal power plant. Start-up Unit-1(800 MW) is expected within the 3-4 months. Unit-2 (800 MW) is under construction and expected to be synchronized in September 2018. The owner has already come out with bids for Long Term Contract (LTC) maintenance for CHP, WTP, AHP, C&I, mechanical equipment of the boiler. Bids for LTC for switch-yard equipment and cooling tower are expected soon.
8Project Event: RFQs for a long term contract for switch-yard equipment and cooling tower are expected by April 2018.

8Project Description: The owner's 90 MW (3*30 MW) greenfield hydro power project has been held up on account of delay in grant of wildlife clearance. NBWL clearance is awaiting at the Nodal Officer level, and only after that will EC be elicited. The owner will come out with an EPC package after getting EC appraisal.
8Project Event: RFQ for an EPC contractor is expected by Q3 2018, instead of Q1 2018.
