Jan 31: Solar Park : More business opportunities ahead
8Assam Power Generation Company Limited is planning the implementation of a solar park of 70 MW at Amguri, in Sibsagar district of Assam.
8Currently, the owner has acquired the land for installation of solar panels.
8The owner will come out with a Request for Selection (RfS) bid in March 2018, for setting up of grid connected solar park (70 MW). The Power Purchase Agreement with the bidders selected based on this RfS for purchase of solar power will be done afterwards.
8After RfS selection, the owner shall come up with Price bid and Technical bid.

8Project Description: Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited along with an EPC contractor Toshiba JSW System Pvt Ltd is undergoing construction activities for a brownfield 660 MW ultra super-critical thermal power complex at its existing facility of 610 MW old Harduaganj thermal power station at Kasimpur, Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh.. Boiler and turbine foundation works have been completed. BTG package has been awarded to Doosan Power. BoP packages has been awarded. The EPC contractor will come out with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) unit package soon.
8Project Event: RFQs for a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) are expected by Q2 2018.

New generator rotor requirement coming up in Q3, 2018
8Project Name: North ChennaiThermal Power Station - Procurement of a Rotor
8Project Cost: 45 crores
8Project Description: TANGEDCO is planning to procure a generator rotor for a 600 MW unit in its existing facility of 1830 MW (3*210 MW + 2*600 MW) thermal power plant at Thiruvallur, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Currently, administrative approval is awaited, subsequently after which the procurement team of the owner will come out with a bid for the new generator rotor.
8Project Event: RFQ for purchase of a new generator rotor is expected by Q3 2018.
