LNG prices spurt-V: GAIL lack of confidence shows as it offer to sell US cargoes outright

India's GAIL looks to sell 24 US LNG cargoes via tender for 2019-20 loading from its from the Cove Dominion Energy's Cove Point LNG facility
8Clearly, the gas major is shying away from attempting to look at the Indian market even though current prices are high and transporting hub-priced gas from the US to India makes sense
8The latest indications are that the spot market for March are expected to extend the robust winter demand in Northeast Asia ,as well as absorb the leftover demand from a pullback
for February.
8GAIL has little faith that such high spot prices are going to stay this way as the year progresses with supply likely to come into the market
