8Project Name: Gas Turbine Power Station Project - O&M supply

8Project Description: The owner is planning to install a new Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) in the 187 MW (Phase-I of 95 MW & Phase-II of 92.2 MW) Gas Turbine Power Station. Currently, the compressor at Phase-I is being used in Phase-II, causing no standby GBC for both the units. The owner will come out with a bid for a new centrifugal type compressor thereby reducing the loss of generation after getting capital approval from TNEB headquarters.

8Project Name: Combined Cycle Power Station (GT-4) Maintenance Project
8Project Cost: 15 crores
8Project Description: The owner has planned a 10-day scheduled maintenance of Unit-4 Gas Turbine (216 MW) in the 1500 MW ( 4*250 MW GT + 2*250 MW ST) combined gas based power station covering combustion inspection of equipment which includes overhauling of auxiliary parts of the gas turbine set. Equipment required will be combustion liners, crossfire tubes, transition pieces, among others.
8Project Event: RFQ for equipment is expected in third week of January 2018.
