Emissions by gas producers: Time to get all the data in

Is it possible to find out how gas producers in India are curbing methane emissions in India?
8There is an urgent need for Indian policy makers to have something like what EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP).
8For every gas producers, it will then be possible to manually collect production data from their annual reports
8And then use empirical models such as Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)and the Malmquist index measurement matrix to capture carbon emissions over time
8There is no reasons why the Indian government cannot put together a superstructure to catch this kind of data
8For sustainable development, oil & gas producers will need to bring down their emissions footprints and there must be a mechanism to capture such movements.
