8Project Name: Hydroelectric Plant (Unit - 2) Maintenance Project
8Project Cost: 11 crores
8Project Description: The owner has planned a 4-day scheduled maintenance of Unit-2 (28.94 MW) in the 77.34 MW Hydroelectric Station, covering annual inspection and overhaul of equipment which includes overhauling of auxiliary parts of the turbine-generator set, bearing sets, seals.
8Equipment required will be turbine bearings, gland seals, pipes, guide vanes seal, spiral casing, spiral drain valve, fasteners, among others.
8Project Event: RFQs for equipment are expected by first week of January 2018.

8Project Name: Super Thermal Power Greenfield Project
8Project Cost: 14336 crores
8Project Description: The owner along with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited as an EPC Contractor, Alstom India Pvt Ltd as the Boiler Contractor and the Amans Group as sub-contractor continues with the construction and erection of the 1980 MW (3*660 MW) Greenfield Super Thermal Power Project. M/s Herbin Air Conditioning Co. Ltd. has been awarded the contract for air cooled condenser. Casting of TG Deck of Unit-1 was done on 12th April 2017. Casting of TG Deck Unit-2 is in process. TG erection work has been awarded to PowerMech Projects Ltd. BHEL will itself carry out the procurement for turbine.
BHEL will now float RFQs for an electrical equipment which includes transformer, generator, bus ducts, relays, circuit breaker, capacitor bank, insulators and conductors, among others.
8Project Event: RFQs for electrical equipment are expected by Q2 2018.
