Trying to get ONGC and OIL to part with some of their nomination fields to third parties has been the objective of many a policy maker for the past two decades.
8But the peculiarities and risks of such transactions have stymied efforts in the past but this time around the DGH is determined on snatching out a few big fields form the two oil companies.
