8Project Name: Greenfield Thermal Power Station

8Project Description: The owner is planning to set up a 1320 MW (2*660 MW) greenfield super-critical thermal power plant. EC has been accorded on Feb 2017. Land for the project work has been acquired. The owner has already floated a tender for earthwork involving cutting, filling and leveling of land. The project is getting delayed due to a revised PIB memo for main plant works which is under examination now by the CEA. Work at the site has been slated by Q3 2018. The owner will come out with a main plant award (Boiler and Turbine Generator) soon.
8Project Event: RFQs for main plant works (Boiler and Turbine Generator) are expected by Q2 2018.

8Project Description: The owner is planning the installation of a Wet Flue Gas Desulphurization (WFGD) unit at it's 500 MW (2*250 MW) unit Thermal Power Station. The company is expected to float tenders for the same. At present, site survey activities are ongoing for feasibility report for submission to CEA for approval. Work on the project is meant to start in 2020. RFQ for supply of WFGD is expected to be out by Q4 2018.
8The major requirements will be FGD, stacker and reclaimer, earthwork, cranes, pipes, installation, gypsum disposal, wet limestone, among others.
8Project Event: RFQ for supply of WFGD is expected to be out by the Q4 2018.
