8Project Name: Thermal Power Station Maintenance Project (Unit-4)
8Project Cost: 18 crores
8Project Description: The owner has planned a 21 day scheduled maintenance of Unit-4 (250 MW) in the 1500 MW Thermal Power Station covering an annual maintenance of equipment which includes overhauling of auxiliary parts of turbine, boiler, generator comprising HP, IP, LP cylinders gas testing, testing and cleaning of condenser parts, Residual Life Assessment of boiler pressure parts, assessing performance and condition monitoring of furnace, mills, APH and associated ducts.
8Equipment required will be air filters, nozzle, boiler tubes, valves, buckstays, chevron blades, generator relay, condenser tube banks, thrust bearing, journal bearings, pipes, turbine blades, turbine casing among others.
8Project Event: RFQs for equipment required are expected by fourth week of December 2017.

8Project Name: Greenfield Supercritical Thermal Power Plant
8Project Cost: 16000 crores
8Project Description: The developer is planning to set up a 2400 MW (3*800 MW) thermal power plant near it's captive coal mines. The STPP is currently awaiting TOR from MoEF. Feasibility report of the project will be done in-house only. Site visit was done by MoEF officers in month of October. The proponent is expected to float an RFQ for a consultant for the preparation of an EIA. RFQs for main plant award (EPC package) are expected by Q1 2019 after getting approval from requisite departments. Also, its note worthy that for the FGD, a separate RFQ shall be floated for an EPC contractor.
8Project Event: RFQ for an EIA consultant is expected to be out in Q1 2018.
