8Project Description: The owner is planning to construct a greenfield Stage -II 143 MW hydroelectric plant. Project site has been finalized the geological survey and investigation works at the site was awarded to M/s Aimil Ltd and work is underway. The inception report has been approved by the CEA. The owner is likely to come out with a tender for consultancy services for DPR preparation. The owner has confirmed that package wise bids will be advertised in the next 6-8 months.

8Project Description: The owner is planning to carry out maintenance activities at its Unit - 2 (75 MW) out of 290 MW (2*75 + 2*70 MW) thermal power station. Activities are expected to begin by the start of March 2018. RFQs for inspection and various short lead items required for an annual overhaul are expected shortly.
8The requirement will include tubes, buck-stays, relay, bearings and inspection services, air filters, nozzle, boiler auxiliaries works, valves, journal bearings, pipes, casing, among others.
8Project Event: RFQ for maintenance equipment is expected in January 2018.
