8Project Name: Greenfield Hydroelectric Power Station
8Project Cost: Rs 600 crore
8Project Description: The owner along with an EIA consultant is carrying out the clearance activities for scoping the environment clearance for a 42 MW (3*14 MW) greenfield hydro power project. The department is to hire an EPC contractor to execute this (turn key) project. Currently, the department has selected Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to finance the project. No PPA is to be signed in this project. Further tenders for civil, electrical, mechanical and control equipment will be floated by the EPC contractor. The owner will come out with an EPC contractor soon.
8Project Event: RFQ for EPC (turnkey) contractor is expected to be out in March 2018.

8Project Name: Thermal Power Station Maintenance Project (Unit - 2)
8Project Cost: Rs 13 crore
8Project Description: The developer has planned a 21-day scheduled annual overhaul of the Unit-2 (210 MW) in the 1470 MW Thermal Power Plant covering the maintenance of the complete complex involving equipment which will include turbine bearings, refilling of gas for HP, IP, LP turbine cylinders, boiler linings, safety valves, nozzles, inspection of rotor blades, pipes, replacement of conveyor belts, among others.
8Project Event: RFQs for equipment required are expected by third week of December 2017.
