Nov 15: Rs 130 crore phosphoric acid expansion: Tenders soon
The proposal for environmental clearance for a phosphoric acid expansion has been accepted and likely to be granted in February 2018.
The tender for a
contractor is to be released soon.
8The company is planning to enhance the capacity of the phosphoric acid unit from 125,000 MTPA to 216,000 MTPA in India.
8The projected cost of the expansion is Rs 130 crore.

8Project Description: A Fertilizer company is planning an annual maintenance shutdown in June or July 2018 at their existing fertilizer complex at Gajraula in Uttar Pradesh. The existing capacity is made up of 165000 MTPA of SSP, 84000 MTPA of Sulphuric acid. Pre-Vendor Qualification may be necessary for a maintenance contractor.
