8Project Description: The owner has planned a 5-days scheduled maintenance of Unit-2 (137.76 MW) in the 430 MW Gas Based Power Station covering major inspection (type C) of equipment which includes overhauling of auxiliary parts of the gas turbine set, compressor parts, complete hot gas path inspection and generator rewinding and minor inspection of the air fuel ratio (AFR).

8Project Name: Thermal Power Plant - FGD Addition
8Project Cost: Rs 600 Crores approximately
8Project Description: The owner is scheduled to install FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurisation) units and upgrade ESPs (Electrostatic Precipitators) at its 920 MW (2*210 MW + 2*250 MW) thermal power plant. At present, the DPR is being prepared along with the consultant and preparation of tender documents are expected to follow. The project is expected to kick off in early 2021. Commercially, RFQs for FGD installation and retrofitting of ESPs are expected to be out by the second quarter of 2018. Interested parties can get in touch with project promoters for pre qualification and other related activities. Already two Chinese companies have approached the promoters.

8Project Description: The owner along with consultant is writing out the detailed project report for scoping the environment clearance for a 252 MW (4*63 MW) greenfield hydel project. TOR was accorded on 4th March 2014 which would be valid for four years. Survey and investigation activities for updated baseline data for three working seasons has been completed and EIA/EMP activities are in progress. Socio-economic survey, land survey, and public hearing are getting delayed due to heavy rains in the project area and would be completed in the next 7-8 months. The developer will come out first with major civil works, and HM and EM works subsequently after a month's gap each after procuring EC.
8Project Event: RFQ for civil works are expected by 3rd Quarter of 2018.
