8Project Name: Hydroelectric Project
8Project Cost: Rs 4200 crore
8Project Description: A JV is carrying out the site survey activities for the 460 MW (4*115 MW) hydel power plant. Currently, survey and investigation work is going on at the site which would take nearly 30 months, including complete topographical survey, soil sampling test, water sampling test among others. Project kick off date is expected in the 2nd Quarter of 2021. TOR is yet to be granted. The owner will come out with tenders for a consultant for EIA preparation, Civil Works, Hydro-Mechanical equipment, Electrical - Mechanical equipment.
The major equipment that will be required will be four Francis Turbine, turbine-generator sets and associated auxiliaries, transformers, radial gates, butterfly valves, turbine auxiliaries, governors with auxiliaries, cables, bus ducts and terminal equipment, EOT cranes, shaft and bearing, couplings, vibration control system, girders, tunnel boring machine, switch-yard equipment among others.
8Project Event: RFQ for consultancy services for EIA preparation is expected by 4th Quarter of 2017.
