8Project Description: TANGEDCO along with consultant Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd. is carrying out the final EIA report activities for replacement of the old units at Ennore Thermal Power Station with a new super-critical 660 MW complex in the existing premises of Ennore Thermal Power Station at Ennore, Tamil Nadu. EC is expected to be granted in next 2-3 months. RFQ for a contractor is expected subsequently.
8The major equipment required will be Boiler and its auxiliaries, Turbine, ESP, CHP, Chimney, Generator, Cooling Tower, AHP, Switchyard, Electrical equipment among others.
8Project Event: RFQ for EPC contractor is expected to be floated by 4th Quarter of 2017.

8Project Name: Rego Greenfield Hydroelectric Power Station
8Project Cost: Rs 370 Crore
8Project Description: Greenko Energies Pvt. Ltd. is reconfiguring its Rego HEP in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh from 82.2 MW to 97 MW subsequent to the findings of an earlier techno economic study. A DPR is currently under preparation. Project kick off is expected in 2019. RFQs for EIA consultant, Civil works, Hydro-Mechanical equipment, Electrical equipment and BoP are expected in last quarter of 2017. 
8Major requirement will be hydro-turbines, turbine-generator sets and associated auxiliaries, transformers, radial gates (along with hoist), vertical lift gates, main inlet valves (MIV), butterfly valves, turbine auxiliaries (motors and control centers), digital governors (with accessories), cables, bus ducts and terminal equipment, EOT cranes, DC system (batteries, charger and DCDB), DG sets, shaft and bearing, couplings, vibration control system, girders, steel ropes, communication system, ventilation system, bays, switchgear, static excitation system, dynamic braking equipment, unit control board (UCB), computerized control system (CCS), video surveillance, substations and tunnel boring machine (TBM) among several others.
8Project Event: RFQ for Hydro-Mechanical equipment is expected in the final quarter of 2017.

8Project Name: Expansion of Captive Waste Heat Recovery Plant
8Project Cost: Rs 20 Crore
8Project Description: Jindal Stainless Ltd. is planning an expansion of its 13 MW Waste Heat Recovery Unit (in Ferro-Alloys Plant). DPR has been prepared and clearances are awaited. RFQ is expected in by the end of this year. 
8Major requirement will be 1*50 TPH AFBC boiler (of Bi-Drum design with Header type boiler tank), boiler auxiliaries (including natural circulation system, water tube balanced draft, under bed fuel feeding system, bottom supported pressure parts and bed plate design), feed water system (consisting of deaerator vapour tank/feed water storage tank, feed water pump, feed water control station), boiler feed water pumping station consisting of feed pump, cooling water system and associated pipes), drag chain feeders and surge hoppers for fuel feeding, pressure parts, insulation, valves and chemical dosing system among others.
8Project Event: RFQ for AFBC boiler and boiler auxiliaries is expected to be out in last quarter of 2017.
