Drilling of 9 exploratory wells in a NELP Block

ONGC has initiated the process for getting Forest Clearance which is expected to be granted by Apr 2017 and the environment clearance is expected down the line.
8Total project cost is Rs 270 crore
8ONGC will appoint a Drilling Contractor to carry out the drilling work.
8The tenders for the project will be released by mid-April, 2017
Requirements are:
83 DG sets (750 KW),
8Standard land rig,
8Blow Out Prevention (BOP) system,
8Wastewater treatment unit and
8Cuttings handling equipment
8Casing pipes
8Chock Manifolds
8Drill bits
8Valves
8Associated pipelines
