Budget 2017: Budgetary support details

The total budgetary support for the oil & gas industry in the 2017 budget is Rs 29,157 crore.
8This is more or less at the same level as was noticed in the 2016 budget.
8The biggest chunk of the allocation will go to the Direct Benefit Transfer scheme for LPG, at Rs 13000 crore
8This is followed by allocation of Rs 8661 crore for other under recoveries, particularly for kerosene
8Allocation has been made for strategic reserves, and two new facilities will be built
8There are also various other assorted allocations.
