Drilling of 3 offshore wells: An update

An E&P major is planning to drill two new wells in an offshore location, and the project cost to be around Rs.300 crore.
8The proposal is still under clearance from the ministry.
8However, officials have found a new possible location other than the 2 proposed location and it will now become a three well programme
8This change in the plan can push the RFQ dates further out.
8The RFQ for the new location will be released separately.
8A detailed technical meeting is going to held in the 2nd week of March, 2017 after which the specifications for the required equipments will be released.
8The cost of the project is to be revised up consequently
