It is learned that Reghu Padmanabhan will be the new head of Expro
He is young, at 43, and dynamic. He has replaced Hemant Shah as Empro
Padmanabham has hands-on experience in India. He spent five years at Weatherford, and while being young, he has over two decades of experience working in the industry
Empro has been able to win business, recently it won a TCP-DST contract for offshore and onshore wells from ONGC for a three year period, against competition from three serious contenders, Hallinburton, Schlumberger and Baker Hughes
Then again, it also won a contract to build a MOPU (it is a seven year contract to build, operate and maintain) from HOEC, for the B-80 offshore field by converting a Self Drilling jackup rig
HOEC has been a partner to Empro ealier, working on the Dirok field where it built and now maintains the gas processing facility
