8Project Description: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited's RFQs for the hiring of a horizontal drilling services for development drilling of 27 wells in the Bhuvanagiri & Periyakudi fields and the expansion of the Bhuvanagiri EPS liocated in the Cauvery Basin spread over the Cuddalore and Tiruvarur districts, Tamil Nadu is planned to be floated next year. The TOR for the project has been granted and the EIA report for the project will be prepared by Q1 2020 for which a tender will be floated next month. For the EPC contractor RFQs will be out at a later stage. The field development plan for the project has been approved with drilling in a phase-wise manner: 4 horizontal well drilling in Phase-1 and 13 horizontal well drilling in Phase-2 in Bhuvanagiri. Moreover, 10 well drilling programme in Periyakudi will be executed in a single phase. The drilling rig for the project will be hired on a chartered basis. The owner is soon expected to float the RFQs for the hiring of an EPC contractor for the EPS expansion. The project requirement will be Horizontal Drilling Rig, Drill Pipes, Drill Collars, Drill Bits, Casing Pipes, Blow Out Preventer (BOP), Cementing services and Drilling fluids services. Further RFQs are expected shortly.

The field development plan for the project has already been submitted.
