6 Pipeline replacement project (6PLRP): This project was divided into the following Phases like Surveys (pre-engineering, pre-construction & post-completion), Design, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Transportation, Fabrication, Installation/erection, Hook-up, Testing, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning, along with associated terminal facilities and systems, of following Six Pipelines of Assam Asset.
The total cost for the approved project is Rs.2378.86 crore.
The brief location and length of these pipeline are given below:
i) 14”Oil trunk pipeline from CTF Geleki to CTF Jorhat- 46.7km
ii) 12’’ Oil trunk pipeline from DJP to CTF Geleki-16.3km
iii) 16” Gas trunk pipeline from GCP/GGS II /GLK to DJP-16.3km
iv) 8” Oil trunk pipeline from GGS I RDS to DJP-14.9km
v) 12” Oil trunk pipeline from GGS Boroholla to CTF Jorhat-43.4km
vi) 4” Crude Oil transportation pipeline from well #KSAB to “T” point-13.9kmThe pipelines which are below 20 kms will be completed in one single stretch. And the pipelines which are above 40 kms will be done in two stretch.
A small gas compression station with one main Gas compressors and one standby compressor is installed in these pipeline every after 9-11 kms depending upon the height, bends and change in pipe dimensions in all the above pipelines.
Every 4-6kms after the Gas compression station, Booster Pumps are required to maintain the pressure in the pipeline till the next gas compressor station.
As of now, the below mentioned pipelines has been completed:
i) 12’’ Oil trunk pipeline from DJP to CTF Geleki-16.3km (Completed)
ii) 16” Gas trunk pipeline from GCP/GGS II /GLK to DJP-16.3km (Completed)
iii) 8” Oil trunk pipeline from GGS I RDS to DJP-14.9km (Completed)
vi) 4” Crude Oil transportation pipeline from well #KSAB to “T” point-13.9km (Completed)
Pipe line 1:
The pipeline (14”Oil trunk pipeline from CTF Geleki to CTF Jorhat- 46.7km) is completed till 20 kms and for the remaining length ROW has not been given by ONGC.
Megha Engineering & Infrastructures officials are expecting the ROW for the remaining pipeline in next 2-3 months and the project will be finalised by next 6-8 months. The tenders for the electrical works and generators will come shortly. There will be requirement for the compressor and pumps once the ONGC gets the Right of Way.
Pipe line 2:
The pipeline (12” Oil trunk pipeline from GGS Boroholla to CTF Jorhat-43.4km) is about to get finalised by next months.
