The capacity underutilization in Ennore, IOC's 5 MMTPA LNG terminal is evident from the amount of traffic that the port sees every month.
8One cargo has just sailed away on the 10th of June.
8The next cargo is now expected on July 1.
8This is a gap of 20 days.
8The dates may vary, but for a 5 MMTPA LNG terminal to get a cargo of LNG every 20 days reflects the pathetic state of some of the LNG terminals in India.
8IOC says that utilization levels are low because, for a multitude of reasons, the pipeline evacuation network is not in place.
