A sole Indian company bidding against a bunch of battle-hardened multinationals for a high-technology service has been given a special BEC relaxation so that it is in a position to compete.
8Among the bidders with which the Indian company will compete are Baker Hughes, Expro, Schlumberger and Weatherford.
8The special dispensation was on account of the excellent performance by the local company in an earlier contract under the same category, sources said.
