Not too long ago, Shiv Vani Oil Gas Ltd and the colourful Delhi based Singhee family, owned and operated the largest number of oil rigs in India. But the company went bankrupt under mounting debts, unpaid service tax bills following a blacklisting by ONGC.
8There was a CAG report critical of ONGC's dealings with the company.
8The company has gone into liquidation, but this website is now beginning the process of hunting for the 40 odd rigs that the company possessed. Where are they? Have they been repossessed? How many are lying idle? Can some of them be refurbished and retrieved?
