LNG for trucks in India-II: What needs to be done

A lot has to be done to convince a tucker to buy an LNG-based truck in India.
8Sellers may have to go really out of the way, either by guaranteeing the gas price for the length of the payback period or providing a one-time grant to the truck owner.
8Estimates show that at current price differentials, the payback period will be less than 2 years
8Trucks can become a significant consumer of LNG, adding up as much as 48 MMTPA of extra LNG demand by 2035
8Thousands of LNG dispensation terminals will have to roll out to make the use of LNG in trucks ubiquitous.
8Get of list of policy formulations which will be needed from the government to get LNG-for-trucks going in India
