8Project Description: The Arunachal Pradesh government has withdrawn pernission for SJVN’s Doimukh hydroelectric project in Arunachal Pradesh. The capacity of the project was reduced to 52 MW from the allocated 80 MW capacity due to e-flows issues. After all survey and investigations done at the site, the project was found to be unviable.

8Project Description:L&T Himachal Hydropower Limited has dropped plans to set up a 430 MW hydro power project in Village Tindi, near Udaipur, in Lahul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh due to lack of basic infrastructure and high power generation cost. L&T has already invested 100 crores for the preparation of EIA report, site survey and investigation, design and drawing. A petition to waive off the P&L is pending at the state government.

8Project Description: Attunli Hydroelectric Power Company Limited, a joint venture between Jindal Power (74%) and Hydro Power Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (26%) is carrying out the tree enumeration works for the application of the diversion of forest land in the 680 MW (4*170 MW) greenfield hydel power project at village Aplani, Dibang valley district of Arunachal Pradesh.

An EIA report has been prepared but no movement in the project is seen
