8Project Description: Hydel projects are never easy to get off the ground but National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited is ploughing through with its 195 MW (3x65 MW) greenfield hydro power project located in the Tehri Garhwal District of Uttarakhand. The company plans to come out with package wise contracts. Ffinancial approval is however still pending with the Ministry of Power. A detailed project report is gettting prepared by using in-house resources.
8Project Event: RFQ for carrying out the Hydrometeorology data collection at the project site is expected by mid May 2019.

8Project Description: Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited is preparing the detailed project report by using in-house resources for the renovation, modernization and up-gradation of the existing 120 MW (4x30 MW) hydroelectric plant located in the Sitarganj district of Uttarakhand. But the problem is that KfW, a German financial agency, has been withdrawn from the project, leaving the authorities to look for funding elsewhere
8Project Event: RFQ for an EPC contractor for the mentioned works is expected by the Q3 2019.
