Common carrier for LNG terminals: What holds true for the US does not necessarily apply for India

8The ground is promissory estoppel, wherein they claim that the rules of business are being sought to be arbitrarily changed by the regulator, and this is something that will not be acceptable to shareholders and lenders of these terminals.
8Both have quoted extensively from how US regulators have ruled on the subject, while also quoting heavily from US court judgements.
8But India is a different market from the US, and the PNGRB will have to show both courage and determination to ensure that the rules are changed in order to create a more competitive gas market in India
