Power plants facing coal shortage: Find out the details

A cumulative capacity of about 38,000 MW power plants is facing the coal shortage having of stocks less than a week.
8Most of the shortage of coal is where the mode of transportation of fuel is through Rail.
8The Union Government has proposed a Rapid Loading System in December 2018 to minimize the loading time of coal in rail racks and enhance dispatch. But, there is no sign of any movement on this front.
