8Project Name: Visakhapatnam Refinery Greenfield Captive Power Project
8Project Cost: Rs 1034 crore
8Project Description: LSTK contractor BHEL along with civil contractor Power Mech Projects Ltd. is carrying out main structural civil works for the 75 MW captive power plant for the Visakhapatnam refinery. BHEL has awarded the gas turbine generator to GE Power at the cost of Rs 220 crore based on F-class technology. Moreover, the transportation of 135 MT crane from Tanda (UP) site to Vizag refinery site has been carried out by NTC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. and erection commissioning of C&I works has been awarded to KSL Technocrats. Apart from this Kirloskar Brothers Limited has been prioritized for the supply of the boiler feed pump.
RFQ for the supply of Hight Tension & Low Tension (HT<) motor is expected by May 2019.
