Nov 15: Does Niko Resources Ltd's inability to sell its 10% stake in the D-6 block point to an inherent unviability of the KG Basin economics for the RIL-BP duo?
8Niko has defaulted on its latest cash call, inviting a default notice from RIL.
8Niko's lenders are now left with a Hobson's choice: either see their previous lendings go down the drain or throw in more money -- around $200 million needed to fund the current expansion -- to keep the E&P company going until a suitor is eventually found.
