8Project Cost: Rs 14896 crore
8Project Description: Patratu Vidyut Utapadan Nigam Limited, a joint venture subsidiary of NTPC and Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, along with EIA consultant Visiontek Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd is carrying out the pre-engineering activities for replacement of the old units at Patratu Thermal Power Station with a new 2400MW (3*800MW) complex at the Patratu Thermal Power Station at Patratu, Jharkhand. EC is expected to be granted in next 1-2 months. BHEL has come out as an L1 bidder for the EPC contractor and NOA is expected in the next 1 month. Boiler and Turbine will be made by BHEL. BHEL will come out with a civil works and BOP packages soon.
8Project Event: RFQ for civil works are expected by 4th Quarter of 2017.
